The North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, CA may have great acoustics, but that didn’t matter when a near-silent convoy of zero-emission trucks (ZETs) were the headliners for the Zero-Emission Truck Showcase + Ride and Drive. The event, hosted on October 20, 2023, by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and CALSTART, featured 12 trucks that the 252 attendees took for 200 total ride and drives. Zero-emission resource fair participants included Port of San Diego, CORE, HVIP, Cal Fleet Advisor, and InCharge.
